When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. If you place an order, we also collect your name, shipping address, and payment information so we can fulfill and ship your order. That's it. We don't ask for anything we don't need.
We do not collect, receive, or store your location, your routes, or where or when you drive. The Blackbird device uses GPS locally to compare your position against a database of known camera locations. That comparison happens inside the device, in your car. Your movements never leave it and never reach us.
We use your information only to process orders, ship products, send order and shipping updates, and notify you about the Blackbird launch and future products if you've asked us to. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card details are handled entirely by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
We rely on a small number of trusted services to run our business: Stripe (payments), our website host, and other service providers as needed to operate our business. These providers only process the information required to deliver their service, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We send emails through our website's signup system. You can unsubscribe at any time by contacting blackbirdlabs@yahoo.com, and we'll remove you promptly.
You may request a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time. Just email blackbirdlabs@yahoo.com.
We may update this policy as our business grows. Any material changes will be posted on this page.
