The Blackbird device is subject to the rules of the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Delivery of the device is conditional upon successful completion of the FCC equipment authorization process.
This device has not yet been authorized as required by FCC rules. It is not, and may not be, offered for sale or lease, or sold or leased, until authorization is obtained. Pre-orders placed now are conditional sales as permitted under FCC rules.
FCC rules do not address consumer protection, contractual, or other rights you may have under federal or state law.
If the Blackbird device does not obtain FCC authorization, all pre-order payments will be refunded in full, automatically, with no action required on your part.
Blackbird's wireless functionality is provided by a pre-certified module that carries its own FCC authorization. The finished Blackbird product undergoes the required emissions testing before any unit ships to a customer.
